Class Act

I was so messed up for time here, with a long weekend, then I took a few days off from work, that I didn’t know what day it was!  When Angelique reminded me that a project was needed for the challenge, I was in a panic, because these images are NOT the ones you want to color in a hurry!! But I did, and am pleasantly surprised with how it turned out :)  I die cut some feathers with an unbranded die, then added them to a bunch of flowers atop a pretty bow.  I added a few pearl sprays, then punched the edge of the card with a Martha Stewart pansy border punch.  Not too bad for a rush job if I do say so myself, LOL.

I’d like to enter this in the following:

Baby Bears

Hi there!! I hope you are enjoying your summer!!  Today I have a card for you that I made for the current challenge at Creative Fingers.  This challenge, we are being sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps

and Elvenstar Art

All of our challenges are ATG, so I hope you can join in the fun!!

Bear Babies

I was given the image  Teddy Bear Topper, by Bugaboo, to work with.  I’m running very short of baby girl cards, so I colored the bears, with my Prismacolors, in traditional “girly” colors.  I added the sentiment on my computer when I printed the image.  The image and sentiment pretty much say it all, so I went with a fairly simply design, using some coordinating stripe paper, and some baby die cuts, that I cut with a DoCraft die :)

I’d like to enter this into:

In The Pink – #122 Special Occasion

Birthday Pug

Pug!!

Birthday PugHi there!! I’m so behind on my blog posts, and now I’m stuck trying to do them at work, on my phone!! The card I have for you here is my DT make for the current challenge at Creative Fingers. We are always ATG, and have fabulous sponsors….this time, it’s Winkwink Ink :)

Their images are adorable, so I hope you can find time to enter a project for a chance to win!

I used Playful Pug, and printed him off nice and big before coloring him with my SN markers and fussy cutting him out. I cut a number of balloons with a Cottage Cuts die – great way to use up some of the scraps I have on hand!! I tucked them around the pug, which I had placed on a card blank with a birthday sentiment cut with a die from Poppy Stamps.

I’d like to enter this into the following challenges:

Baby Girl

Baby BearHi there :)  We have a new ATG challenge over at Creative Fingers, and the sponsor is the one and only Teddy Bo!!!

I was so excited when I received my May Teddy Bea02 image, and could hardly wait to color her up with my SN markers :)  The rest of the girls have made some amazing cards with their Teddy Bo images as well, so stop by the blog and be inspired!!  After coloring the image, I found some pink printed and pink glitter paper, a small piece of pink lace, and mauve ribbon, and lay everything out.  The sentiment was cut with a DoCraft die that I borrowed from a good friend.  I punched some stars to put in the corners to go with both the stars on one of the papers and the glittery paper.  I hope you make the time to enter a project at Creative Fingers….ATG, with a chance to win some adorable images :)

I’d like to enter this into the following challenges:

Color Your WorldHello!! This card was made for the new ATG challenge at Creative Fingers.  Our sponsor this time is

Oddball Art, and the team has outdone themselves with their creations!!

I used image #126 for my card, and colored the sweetie with my SN markers.  I used some individual alphabet stamps for the sentiment, to give it more of a casual, playful feel.  The background is a piece of cute star paper that I had in my stash..I added a strip of blue, one of the tons of strips that I have from trimming 12 x 12″ paper down to make envelopes!  I used another strip of yellow, to die cut the stars with a Frantic Stamper border die. I snipped the border into a few pieces, to make it ‘work’.  I added a few baubles that I made from melting plastic pony beads, and this card was done :)

I’d like to enter this into the following challenges:

The DT members have been busy creating some fabulous projects to inspire you, so be sure to check them out, and leave a little love on the way!!

I received the gorgeous Flapper Twirl Girl image to use on my card.  I wanted to go for a real Art Deco look with her.  I colored her up with my SN markers, then added some Wink of Stella to the dress and headpiece, and gel pen accents to her beads.  I stuck to my favorite color combo with this card, using a pretty patterned backing paper, and some geometric shapes for the foundation.  I cut some feathers with my Cricut, then accented them with gel pens.  I had some fringe left over from a fringe dress that I made years and years ago, that fit nicely with the scheme, as well as a blingy trim that I scored at the dollar store!!  I’m very happy with how this all came together!

I’d like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Feeling Crappy

Feeling C….y

Hi there!! As we ease into February, we also have a new ATG challenge at Creative Fingers for the next 2 weeks.  We have a regular sponsor, the fabulous Rick St. Dennis! :)

There is soooo much to choose from at his store, that it’s more than worth your while to enter for a chance to win one of his fantastic images!

Feeling CrappyI was in a “mood” when I got this stamp…..you can only guess what kind!! Lol!  The mood passed, so I decided to make a Get Well card.  The inside of this card says “…..that you’re feeling crappy”.  I printed the image onto kraft paper, and colored it with my Prismacolor pencils.  The sentiment was printed at the same time as the image.  I wanted “something” to embellish it, and came up with a roll of toilet paper, rather than ribbon or bling :)  I cut a strip of paper, ran it through with my perforating blade to make the squares, then rolled it up.  I tore a few sheets off….just because :)  Hopefully this card will elicit a smile from the recipient!

Angel Cat

Angel Kitty

Hello there!! I’m here today with my post for the latest ATG challenge at Creative Fingers.  The new year brings with it some new sponsors for our challenges, along with old favorites :)  For this fortnights challenge we have 2 sponsors:

Crafts and Me

http://www.craftsandme.co.uk/

and Wink Wink Ink

https://www.etsy.com/shop/WinkWinkInk

Angel CatI was given Angel Kitty to work with, and I was so excited, as this is the first time I’ve used a Wink Wink Ink image :) I was hoping that my new Prismacolor Pencils would arrive by the time I did this card, but they didn’t, so I colored it up with my SN markers, and added definition with my existing colored pencils.  Pet sympathy cards are so hard to make, as I am an animal lover, and know how hard it is to lose a fur baby.  But, I also appreciate it when others share in my grief, so I make sure I have a few sympathy cards on hand.  I incorporated rainbows with the background paper, and cut some clouds, freehand, for the kitty to rest on.  A sentiment that was cut with my Cricut, and a few gems finish this card off.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

SUYP Cat Lovers Challenge – #14 Furrything Goes

Country View Challenges – January ATG

Digistamps4Joy Challenge – ATG #132 with optional twist “All About Love”

Fishbowl

Best Fishes

Oops!! I’m late in posting my card for the new challenge at Creative Fingers :( Hopefully, it’s better later than never!!!  As always, our bi-weekly challenge is ATG, so whatever your creativity produces, we would love to see!  Our sponsors this time are Scrappers Delights and Art By Miran.

Fishbowl

I was given the Fishbowl set from the fabulous Scrappers Delights to work with. I love this set, because there are so many elements, which leave endless possibilities to create with!! I merged a number of the elements in the fishbowl, then colored it up with my SN markers. I then printed an empty fishbowl on acetate, and colored the ‘water’ on that. Of course, the glass look doesn’t show on my picture!!! Isn’t that always the way?  I cut it out and stuck it to an easel base. Some twine, a sentiment and another coral image complete this card :)

Snowman Trio

3 Little Snowmen

Good morning :)  I hope everyone has had a wonderful week, and there are lots of smiles in your life :)  We are back to the regular schedule of bi-weekly ATG challenges at Creative Fingers.  This time around we are sponsored by

     and

Stop by the challenge blog and check out the amazing creations of our talented DT, and enter your own ATG creation :)

Snowman TrioI was given the Little Snowman set from Scrap N’ Dipity.  I was having a hell day and did not have any mojo at ALL!! :(  I colored parts of the snowman with my SN pens, did a confetti background with same, then hit the little guys with glitter.  I found some coordinating papers, and layered them up…..love the light blue sparkle paper :)  I cut a sentiment on my Cricut, then added some bling to balance it out.  That’s all I got …..  darn life!
