I fell in love with this image, Baby Feet, as soon as I saw it, knowing it would be perfect on any kind of baby card <3  I’m short of baby girl cards right now, so colored it up with a pink blanket.  I went with a CAS design, layering the image, that I partially fussy cut, over a piece of embossed white card stock, then framing it all in white.  I cut the sentiment with a Tattered Lace die, and added a few pearls to the corners as the only embellishment.  Hope you like it, and hope to see you over at the group for our challenge!!

Bee Goodbye

I have used Bumble Bee Blossom for my inspiration card.  I colored the image with SN markers  and did some fine detail accent work with a ultra fine point pen.  I made the background by stencilling the honeycomb pattern with embossing ink, then embossing with gold, inking with distress ink, randomly stamping a script stamp, then sprinkling some pink and white embossing powder over it all to give the impression of pollen :)  I layered the image on some gold, then a doily (which was the perfect pink….go figure!!), added some lace, ribbon and pearls….and finished with a small sentiment.  I love this image, and had so much fun making this card!! Hopefully, we will see you join us in the challenge….who knows, you may be one of the winners :)

I colored this image up with my Prismacolors, on gray Kraft paper (didn’t know there was such a thing, but there it was, at Michael’s!)  I framed it to look like a polaroid, and heat embossed a sentiment.  I tucked a few die cut snowflakes behind the picture, and used my white gel pen to make a scribbley edge, before mounting the whole thing on a blue card blank :)

I knew I just NEEDED this strawberry image, as soon as I saw it!! Brings back memories of berry picking with my parents :) I colored them with my SN markers, taking tips on the techniques from the Kit and Clowder Elements of Nature class. After matting it with red, I placed it on a square die cut doily.  A cute gingham background paper, paired with some burlap and Rik Rac were all this card needed for the image to shine through!

Be sure to check out the rest of Andrea’s amazing designs at the Sheepski Designs shop. And we’d love you to join us at the Facebook group, where you can enter the monthly challenge.  Sheepski Designs also has a challenge blog where you could enter to double your chances at winning!! Hope to see you soon :)

Dance!I finally had a good excuse to buy and color this gorgeous Flamenco image, from Sheepski Designs!  A friend ordered a birthday card for her sister, who has just completed lessons, and whose favorite color is blue.  I colored the image with Prismacolors, giving the dress a gradient of blue and teal. I die cut her out, and framed her with a pretty, lacy frame.  For the background, I did an emboss resist, using a music score stamp and blue and teal Distress Inks. I messed around with embellishments for quite awhile, before settling on a simple sentiment on a tag, a sheer ribbon and bow over a blue strip of paper, and some rhinestones to coordinate with the dress.

CU Dragon Dreams

Shhhhh!!

CU Dragon Dreams

How cute is this little dragon!?!?! Sleeping so peacefully in his flower :) His name is Morpheus,  and the image is from Sheepski Designs.  I colored him up using my Prismacolor pencils, using colors to help get him in touch with his feminine side :) After fussy cutting the image out, I set about to make my first ever box card. I used scraps of checked paper, some punched border pieces, a few scraps of daisy trim and daisy flower embellishments to decorate the card. I cut a sentiment and some butterflies with my Cricut to finish this off. I was very happy that it all folded up nicely, too!! :)
