Good morning It’s a beautiful spring day here, and I am finally feeling a bit more human….my sinuses aren’t killing me and I’m not sneezing every 2 seconds It’s also time for another challenge at Come and Get It. This time, our sponsors are Nikki Burnette
and Scrapper’s Delight.
The design team has some beautiful inspiration projects, so please stop by and check them out, and while you’re there, enter your project with a handmade embellishment – you could win an awesome prize
I was given the beautiful Arden by Nikki Burnette to work with. I saw the daisies in her hair, and immediately decided to do my card in blues and yellows (because I love those colors with daisies). I colored her up with my SN markers, leaving the wings….because…..anyone that knows me, knows that I think fairy wings have to sparkle I’m never happy with a project unless they do I recently got more Sakura Quickie glue pens in the mail, so I could really go to town with these wings!! I did them in shades of silver, gold and blue. Yes, there was glitter all over afterwards, of course I found a scrap of blue paper, and some pretty yellow card stock, which I embossed with a daisy embossing folder. After layering everything up on a pale blue card base, it was time to make my own embellishments I stuck with the daisy theme, and cut a number of blooms out with my Cricut, then layered them with yellow centers with some Glossy Accents detail. I punched a bunch of little blossoms out of the yellow, and colored some blue ones, then got the handy MS branch punch out to finish off. It was still lacking something, so I popped on a few butterflies to balance things out
It’s been a while since I’ve participated in any challenges, so I’d like to enter this into the following
