Birthday Cuppa

Birthday Cuppa

At the beginning of the year, I decided to have a fairy on all of my sisters birthday cards (I have 5 sisters). I wanted to have them personalized in some way. One sister loves her coffee, and floods Facebook every morning with coffee memes. I was thrilled to find this image, Ching-Chou Kuik‘s “The Moment” digital stamp. I colored her up with my SN markers, then used chalk and some Smooch ink for the steam. Of course, she NEEDED sparkly wings, so out came the glitter :) I found the floral background paper in my file of smaller pieces. The roses were made from fiber paper scraps I had. I wet them and crumpled them up a bit before letting them dry and rolling them.  Some pearl centered blooms, a piece of lace and a few more pearls finished this card off.

I’d like to enter this into the following challenges:

Ching-Chou Kuik’s Challenge Blog – June Challenge – Pearls and Lace

The Crazy Challenge – #224 Bingo

I used the center vertical line: lace, digi, design paper

Lil Patch of Crafty Friends – ATG #35
