Daisy Shaker

Speedy Recovery

Hi there :)  A friend of mine finally went in for her long awaited knee surgery, so I had to make a special card for her.  Her favorite color is orange, and fave flowers are gerbera daisies.  I’ve had this stamp set from Inkadinkadoo for a looooong time, and have never used it, so figured it would be perfect for this occasion!  I also thought it would be perfect to make a shaker card with, as I haven’t made one for ages, and it would give her something to play with while she recuperated on her couch, lol.  I used the bigger daisy from the set to stamp a background, and the frame to make the shaker part.  I colored everything in with my Prismacolor pencils, then assembled it, using a computer generated sentiment, some gel pen accents, a piece of turquoise ribbon, and some sequins and pearls for the shaker part.  She loved it, calling it her get well fidget spinner, lol.  I’m happy to say that she is a quick healer, and is moving around already :)

I’d like to enter this in the following challenges:

Stamping Sensations – July, Anything With Flowers

Brown Sugar Challenges – #258 ATG

Jo’s Scrap Shack Funday Friday – ATG #196
