Snowflake Angel

Snowflake Angel

I came close to tossing this card a few times….but I persevered and am quite happy with the result. I started off with the current sketch from Retro Rubber

and went from there.  Seeing as how they ask us to use our old stamps, I dug up this one, which I believe is – if not THE oldest Christmas one I have – then very close to the oldest.  I stamped and embossed it on vellum, then added some bling and put it in a frame that I covered with adhesive lace stuff that I found in the back of a drawer.  The background is plain white card stock, embossed with the Cuttlebug snowflake folder.  A simple “Joy” greeting, and a shimmery bow, both accented with more rhinestones, finish this card off. The different textures and bling gives some zing to this white on white card. I’m entering this into Just Inspirational and Totally Gorjuss – Snowflakes; Inky Impressions – Snow; and Lil Red Wagon – Things With Wings challenges.
