Good morning My card today features the absolutely adorable Puppy in Boot, by Mitzi at Aurora Wings. She very graciously offers this as a freebie on her Facebook group, where there is so much inspiration!! I don’t kn ow about you, but when I think of Aurora Wings, my brain automatically goes to beautiful floral images, mermaids, and of course, Sprites!! Mitzi’s animals are so freakin’ adorable, that they should certainly be given the limelight!! So, that’s why I chose this pup for the card! I colored him up with my SN markers and did some light chalking in the background. I had a bunch of co-ordinating scraps of DP that were perfect for this card, so I started layering away I was quite excited, because the band/belt/?? embellishment that I’ve been saving for all these years made a perfect little doggie collar embellie Of course every dog collar needs a tag, so I die cut one from mirror card, then “engraved” the message on to it. I balanced everything out with some silver adhesive baubles.

Good morning!! It’s Thursday, so that means it’s time for a brand new challenge over at C.R.A.F.T. We have a super fun theme this week: Animals. Time to get all those fuzzy butts onto cards, and enter We are lucky to have 2 sponsors this time:
Just click on the logo to be taken to their shops
I was given the adorable Butterfly Bunny, from All Dressed Up, to use for my card. I colored the image with my SN markers, and am so happy that I managed to achieve the fuzzy look the way I did I used the sketch at The Sketchy Challenge
I have so many pretty scraps of printed paper, that this was the perfect sketch to utilize some of them!! The layout and patterns of the paper really made embellishments unnecessary, as I think it could have easily got to be “too much”. I added a sticker (!!!!) sentiment, and called this done

I had the idea for this card the other day, and was really excited to get to it, because it was back to some of my old rubber stamping techniques. I used an old rubber-stamp of a zebra, I don’t know the brand name, but I got it at Michael’s as part of a set of animals. I used masking to make a row of them to run across the strip of white card stock. The sentiment stamp is also an oldie…..it’s by Stampology. I used a Nellie Snellen circle die to cut it out and to mat it in the turquoise. I’ve had the animal print Cuttlebug embossing folders for a long time, but haven’t used the zebra (or tiger???) one yet. It was perfect to use with CoreD’inations Black Magic paper After sanding the embossing to expose the white, I matted everything with turquoise and added a few small brads to the corner. Loving the CAS design of this card

Hello there! Hope things are going well for everyone out in blogland It’s Thursday already, and that means it’s time for a brand new challenge at C.R.A.F.T.
We have a fun, and popular, theme this week: Animals :) Our fabulous sponsors this time around are Digital Papercraft and Sassy Studio Design. Some fabulous choices in both of these shops!!
I was given Fairy Holding Bear, from Digital Papercrafts, for my project I colored this little sweetie with my SN markers, and (of course) glittered the wings up with some pink and purple glitter. I’ve had the background paper for ages….it’s actually adhesive backed, and I love all the bright teddy bears. I made a pink frame for the image, as well as a backing for the “look who’s 2″ strip, that I printed on my computer. After cutting these pink pieces with some wavy border scissors, I added little pearls to the bumps. I rolled some roses with the same pink. I cut a “2″ on my Cricut, and glittered it up with the same glitter as on the wings.
I hope you can dive into your stash of animal themed supplies and join us this week Be sure to check out my talented teammates projects when you stop by the blog!! Have a fantastic week, everyone
