Hello!! This card was made for the new ATG challenge at Creative Fingers. Our sponsor this time is
Oddball Art, and the team has outdone themselves with their creations!!
I used image #126 for my card, and colored the sweetie with my SN markers. I used some individual alphabet stamps for the sentiment, to give it more of a casual, playful feel. The background is a piece of cute star paper that I had in my stash..I added a strip of blue, one of the tons of strips that I have from trimming 12 x 12″ paper down to make envelopes! I used another strip of yellow, to die cut the stars with a Frantic Stamper border die. I snipped the border into a few pieces, to make it ‘work’. I added a few baubles that I made from melting plastic pony beads, and this card was done
I’d like to enter this into the following challenges:

Hello!! After a short break, we are back with another ATG challenge at Creative Fingers! This time, we are sponsored by the wonderful Lemon Shortbread
The DT members have been busy creating some fabulous projects to inspire you, so be sure to check them out, and leave a little love on the way!!
I received the gorgeous Flapper Twirl Girl image to use on my card. I wanted to go for a real Art Deco look with her. I colored her up with my SN markers, then added some Wink of Stella to the dress and headpiece, and gel pen accents to her beads. I stuck to my favorite color combo with this card, using a pretty patterned backing paper, and some geometric shapes for the foundation. I cut some feathers with my Cricut, then accented them with gel pens. I had some fringe left over from a fringe dress that I made years and years ago, that fit nicely with the scheme, as well as a blingy trim that I scored at the dollar store!! I’m very happy with how this all came together!
I’d like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Hi there!! As we ease into February, we also have a new ATG challenge at Creative Fingers for the next 2 weeks. We have a regular sponsor, the fabulous Rick St. Dennis!
There is soooo much to choose from at his store, that it’s more than worth your while to enter for a chance to win one of his fantastic images!
I was in a “mood” when I got this stamp…..you can only guess what kind!! Lol! The mood passed, so I decided to make a Get Well card. The inside of this card says “…..that you’re feeling crappy”. I printed the image onto kraft paper, and colored it with my Prismacolor pencils. The sentiment was printed at the same time as the image. I wanted “something” to embellish it, and came up with a roll of toilet paper, rather than ribbon or bling I cut a strip of paper, ran it through with my perforating blade to make the squares, then rolled it up. I tore a few sheets off….just because Hopefully this card will elicit a smile from the recipient!
Hello there!! I’m here today with my post for the latest ATG challenge at Creative Fingers. The new year brings with it some new sponsors for our challenges, along with old favorites For this fortnights challenge we have 2 sponsors:
Crafts and Me
and Wink Wink Ink
I was given Angel Kitty to work with, and I was so excited, as this is the first time I’ve used a Wink Wink Ink image I was hoping that my new Prismacolor Pencils would arrive by the time I did this card, but they didn’t, so I colored it up with my SN markers, and added definition with my existing colored pencils. Pet sympathy cards are so hard to make, as I am an animal lover, and know how hard it is to lose a fur baby. But, I also appreciate it when others share in my grief, so I make sure I have a few sympathy cards on hand. I incorporated rainbows with the background paper, and cut some clouds, freehand, for the kitty to rest on. A sentiment that was cut with my Cricut, and a few gems finish this card off.
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
SUYP Cat Lovers Challenge – #14 Furrything Goes
Country View Challenges – January ATG
Digistamps4Joy Challenge – ATG #132 with optional twist “All About Love”
Oops!! I’m late in posting my card for the new challenge at Creative Fingers Hopefully, it’s better later than never!!! As always, our bi-weekly challenge is ATG, so whatever your creativity produces, we would love to see! Our sponsors this time are Scrappers Delights and Art By Miran.
I was given the Fishbowl set from the fabulous Scrappers Delights to work with. I love this set, because there are so many elements, which leave endless possibilities to create with!! I merged a number of the elements in the fishbowl, then colored it up with my SN markers. I then printed an empty fishbowl on acetate, and colored the ‘water’ on that. Of course, the glass look doesn’t show on my picture!!! Isn’t that always the way? I cut it out and stuck it to an easel base. Some twine, a sentiment and another coral image complete this card
OK, this didn’t publish when it was supposed to!!
Todays card is for the current ATG challenge over at Creative Fingers. We are sponsored by the fabulous Bugaboo stamps. Since our challenge is always ATG, make sure you check it out!! There is always wonderful inspiration projects from the DT, and we would love to see your creations
I was given the Bugaboo image, Rottweiler Puppy Hello to work with. I have a birthday coming up for a guy at work, so decided to kill two birds with one stone, and make my DT project a card for him!! I colored the pup with my SN markers, then fussy cut him out. I went rummaging through my paper stash, and found these papers – they were on a 12 x 12 sheet, with 4 different, coordinating prints. I punched a border and the sentiment from the same solid CS that I matted everything with, popped the dog on with foam dots, and added some brads to the corners (Love the fire hydrant – I forget what cool brads I have stashed away, lol). Hope you like it
Hi there!! I can’t believe how fast the summer is flying by! August already, and I haven’t done half the summer stuff I was hoping to do! It’s also time for another ATG challenge over at Creative Fingers. We have two amazing sponsors for our month long challenge (we’re on summer schedule). They are:
As always, my teammates have creations that are absolutely stunning, so be sure to stop by and be inspired
I was given Leilani by Connie Fong to work with. What a beautiful image, and so much fun to color with my SN markers! It was screaming “pink!!” at me, so what could I do, but comply? I found some pretty coordinating papers and a doily, and kept arranging them until I was happy. Then, I went into my flower jar and found some roses to place on top of the pink bow I had put in the corner. I edged one of the roses in pink, because it was too white, and spritzed the smaller ones with some pearly mist to give them shimmer. Some pearls, a sentiment and a few gold dragonfly embellishments finished this card off in a way I was very happy with
I’d like to enter this card in the following challenges:
In The Pink – #100 Birthday – ATG
Good morning!! I couldn’t think of a more appropriate card to made on the first week of summer than a Christmas card!! LOL We have a brand new challenge starting up at Creative Fingers today, and, as always, the theme is ATG. We have the amazing Bugaboo stamps offering 7 of their images as the prize!! There is such and amazing selection in their store, that the winner is really spoiled for choice. My teammates and I were supplied with images to create projects to inspire you with, so please be sure to check out the amazing creations everyone has come up with
The image on my card is one of the “Scene It” – called Winter Friends, found here. After coloring these darlings up with my SN markers, I added glitter to the snow, as well as dabbed some around to make snowflakes. For a bit more shimmer, I added clear Wink of Stella to the snowmen. A pale blue ribbon strip down the one side provided the base for the JOY, done with stickers and a metal snowflake embellishment. I matted the image with some glitter card stock and then added some clear gems for a bit more sparkle. I got the inspiration for the layout of this card from Tuesday Morning Sketches….and interpreted the sketch pretty much straight up
