Hello there!!! It’s just starting to look like spring here, so that must mean that it’s time to make a Christmas card!! This week at C.R.A.F.T., our theme is just that, Christmas! We have 2 amazing sponsors, Star Stampz and Digital Papercraft
I used Imagine Fairy Girl, from Digital Papercraft for my card. She’s not really a Christmas image, but I saw her reaching to put a star on the tree as soon as I came across the image I colored her with my SN markers, then glittered up her wings (of course….fairies need sparkle wings!) I fussy cut her out, then die cut 2 trees, which I cut up and layered, then decorated with glitter. I mounted them with foam pads on a die cut shape that I edged in doodles, and placed a glittery star in her hand. I put this on a DP background, then found some coordinating ribbon to accent the corners. A bow and a stamped sentiment finish this off
I’d like to enter this card into the following challenges:
The Paper Shelter Challenge – #285 Away With the Fairies
Winter Wonderland – For a Child
Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge – #325 ATG with the option (I didn’t use the option) of no pattern paper
Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Extra Challenge – Christmas
Crafty Hazelnuts Patterned Paper Challenge – ATG
Hello there! Hope things are going well for everyone out in blogland It’s Thursday already, and that means it’s time for a brand new challenge at C.R.A.F.T.
We have a fun, and popular, theme this week: Animals :) Our fabulous sponsors this time around are Digital Papercraft and Sassy Studio Design. Some fabulous choices in both of these shops!!
I was given Fairy Holding Bear, from Digital Papercrafts, for my project I colored this little sweetie with my SN markers, and (of course) glittered the wings up with some pink and purple glitter. I’ve had the background paper for ages….it’s actually adhesive backed, and I love all the bright teddy bears. I made a pink frame for the image, as well as a backing for the “look who’s 2″ strip, that I printed on my computer. After cutting these pink pieces with some wavy border scissors, I added little pearls to the bumps. I rolled some roses with the same pink. I cut a “2″ on my Cricut, and glittered it up with the same glitter as on the wings.
I hope you can dive into your stash of animal themed supplies and join us this week Be sure to check out my talented teammates projects when you stop by the blog!! Have a fantastic week, everyone
