Good morning :)  I really, really challenged myself with this card.  There were a few challenges that I wanted to enter, and I’ve been so short of time, that I wanted to combine a few of them into one card….so I got my thinking cap on :)  I love the sketch over at Tuesday Morning Sketches this week, and really wanted to give it a go:

They also have a theme, this time, Use a Diecut.  Another challenge that intrigued me was The Butterfly Challenge, where the theme is V for the color Vermillion, and K for Key….with a butterfly, of course :)   These, along with the various Red, White and Blue challenges, certainly had me thinking!!  I found the little house image at a free clipart site, and printed it on blue card stock, then added some touches of red, white and clear sparkle with some gel pens…then fussy cut it out and placed it on white cardstock, matted in red.  I die cut the butterflies, with an unbranded die, and, after folding their wings up for a bit of dimension, placed them on a piece matted in blue.  I embossed the background with a Spellbinders folder, added a Tattered Lace diecut sentiment and then tied on a key charm to finish the card off :)

I’d also like to enter this into the following:

Let’s Craft and Create – #127 Just Beachy and/or Red, White and Blue

CutIt Up = #125 Patriotic/Red White and Blue (I’m Canadian, so went with the colors :) )

Glitter N’ Sparkle – #24 7 Red White and Blue
