Hey there! Today I have a card that I made for the new challenge at C.R.A.F.T. Our theme this time is Create Your Own Embellishment, and we are sponsored by the ever popular, Nikki Burnett.
The team made some wonderful embellishments to go on their amazing creations, so be sure to check their blogs out for some inspiration
I was given the gorgeous image Giselle to work with. I colored her with my SN markers, adding some touches of sparkle gel pens, and Wink of Stella on her tail. I used Distress Inks to make the sunset background. I was so busy inking and coloring, that I almost forgot our theme!! I got a bit ambitious, and hand made the net, tying ALL THOSE KNOTS!!! I cut the shells, with a Marianne Creatives punch die, out of a scrap of shiny wrapping paper. The sentiment is from a LDRS sentiment stamp set.
EEEEP!! I didn’t get this posted at anywhere close to the right time!! There still IS a teeny bit of time left to enter our current challenge at Come and Get It, though. Our theme this time is “No Designer Paper”, and the sponsor is the wonderful Nikki Burnett.
I used Fallon, supplied by the sponsor I colored it with my Prismacolors, then fussy cut it to go over the embossed (and lightly inked) background. I die cut some birch trees to place over the embossing. I stamped a sentiment on another strip and this finished my project off
Hi there!! It’s time again for another challenge over at C.R.A.F.T. We realize how easy it is to leave our Christmas cards until the last minute, then fly into a panic in December, so we’ve been giving you Christmas theme challenges throughout the year to help out a bit. And with THAT preamble, you have probably guessed that our theme this week is Christmas!! Lol For our sponsor, we have the fabulous Nikki Burnette
I was given the beautiful Sadie, to work with. I colored her up with my SN markers, then glittered her wings up (because I have a firm belief that fairy wings sparkle!!) For the cup and saucer, I dotted parts of each with a white gel pen, then colored them over again with colored pencils to get the polka dot effect without losing shading detail.
For the papers, I dove into my Christmas scrap folder and had some fun I tied the bow, then adhered some candy canes that I fussy cut from another paper scrap and topped with Glossy Accents. A computer printed sentiment and some silver glitter baubles finished this card off
I hope that you can stop by the C.R.A.F.T. challenge blog and enter a Christmas make, and while you are there, check out the beautiful inspirational projects that my amazing teammates have created
I’d like to enter this card into the following challenges:
