Snowflake Angel

Hi there 🙂  It’s already Sunday, and time for my third inspiration piece for the current challenge at the Ching-Chou Kuik Facebook group.  This month, our theme is Christmas…..as it’s getting very close, and hopefully your stacks of Christmas cards are getting bigger 🙂  I used the gorgeous image Northern Blessings, found in the Etsy store. After coloring her up in some non-traditional colors, I added white gel pen, and sparkle accents to her jewelry, wings and the snowflake.

I fussycut/die cut her out, and set it aside while I distressed the edges of the PERFECT print paper, and some Coredination paper.  I layered everything up, tucking some die cut snowflakes, that I enhanced with glitter, to peek out from under the printed layer.  I die cut the sentiment from gold glitter paper, then added a sparkly bow to balance the card out.

I would love to enter the following with this card:

Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge – #412 Anything Christmas Goes

Craft Dee BowZ – November, ATG with a Handmade Bow

Aud Sentiments – #216 Ribbons & Bows and a Sentiment

Simon Wednesday – All That Glitters is Gold

The Crafty Addicts – #54 ATG/Make it Girly
