Good morning 🙂 The calendar says it’s spring, but it’s not quite feeling like it here though!! My inspiration card for the new challenge at the Sheepski Designs Facebook group feels spring-y, though 🙂 Our challenges are ATG, but there’s always an optional twist to help the old mojo, and this month, it’s Spring Things. There are so many gorgeous images to choose from Andrea’s Sheepski shop on Etsy, but this time, I picked one of her newer images….Butterfly Curl, to work with. Don’t forget to use this discount code, if you find something you need!!

I printed the image up on some pretty teal paper, then colored it up with my Prismacolor pencils. I loved the look of it so much, that I decided to leave it as a one layer, CAS card 🙂 The sentiment that I found was perfect for the image, and I printed it on a piece of gold vellum that I had kicking around here. It looks way more subtle in real life than the photo!! To bring a bit more gold in, I used a MS sparkle pen to dot around the butterflies to give them an almost magical effect 🙂
