Cocoa Wishes

Hi there 🙂 My pile of cards is growing this month 🙂 One of the guys I work with does not celebrate Christmas in his faith, but still enjoys the non-religious festivities and good will surrounding the occasion. I always make cards and give little gifts to the guys I work with, and, of course, I can’t leave him out. This image from Christmas Cocoa Cups 2 set by Last Minute Manda is a happy one, without being overboard Christmassy, so I went with it. I colored the image with my Copics, and added a few touches with white Posca. I dug around in my paper stash, and found this fun background print that went with the image perfectly!! After cutting an oval aperture into this, and the striped matting, I layered it over some brown cardstock, and popped the colored image on. A quick winter sentiment that I printed on my computer provided the finishing touch to this card.
