Good morning 🙂 How cute is this pup, from Eureka Stamps??? Heart Puppy is so perfect for a dog lover’s Valentine 🙂 When I printed him, I was sad to see that my black ink wasn’t working (it’s full, I just got it…something must be plugged), but me, being to cheap and lazy to get it working and reprint it again, lol, took my black pencil and traced over the image. I shaded in the rest of the pup a bit, adding color on his tag and tongue, then fussy cut him out. The grid DP made me think of a notebook, and I have just the edge punch to finish off that look 🙂 I stamped black hearts on a white scrap, and punched out some little red hearts to put on the grid paper. I used some stickers for the sentiment, as I am always looking for ways to use those “weird” letters that seem to be left on every sheet. For the layout inspiration, I used the February sketch, from the Viva la Verve Sketch Challenge
I’d like to enter this in the following:

What a great job of improvising! (Don’t you hate it when that ink cartridge fails?) Using your pen and then fussy cutting worked very well. I also like the notebook edging … and, oh yes, the hearts. So cute. Thanks for joining the QKR Stampede “anything goes” challenge this week. Dorothy S, DT member
