Hello 🙂 I hope that those of you that celebrated Thanksgiving a few days ago had a fabulous day, and if you were looking to find deals on Black Friday, that came to fruition as well 🙂 I guess there’s no avoiding the fact that Christmas is coming, now that we have all the other holidays out of the way!!! I made this card, featuring one of the gorgeous digital images from Power Poppy. I printed Poinsettia and Pomegranates up with light lines, and colored it with my Copics.
I hummed and hawed a bit over the layout and design, but with such a stunning image, wanted to keep things rather simple and elegant. I stamped and embossed a gold sentiment, then scattered some more gold powder around the image and embossed. I die cut a bottom border in both the image and the underlying green print paper, before adhering it to a white card blank. The bonus with this card is that it’s flat, great for mailing (if our postal strike ever ends).
I’d like to enter this in the following:
The Paper Shelter – #363 A Christmas Card
As You Like It Challenge – Do You Prefer Rubber or Digi? DIGI, because you can resize them, flip them etc. and they are way easier to store!!! Although I do like rubber for sentiments, as I like to emboss my sentiments a lot of the time!
