Smile

Hi there 🙂 I had to do a card using an image from Ike’s Art, as a tribute to the artist, Susie, who sadly passed away recently. I colored this Shark up with my Copics, then fussy cut him out. The look on his face is such a goofy smile, and gave me the idea for putting him in a Polaroid photo die cut. I backed him up with a cool DP that is shimmery, and looks like water – of course, the photo doesn’t do this paper justice, lol. The background paper is some that I had in my stash for ages, and had never used, but this card was just calling out for it!! I used a slimline background die to cut the strips of black and white (these were the offcuts), to use as the border. A die cut “smile”, and some black and silver baubles ALMOST finished this card off. I had to add a tiny rhinestone to the sharks front tooth, to give his smile some sparkle 🙂
