Hi there 🙂 I was thrilled to be asked to be GDT at Coloring With Pencils this month 🙂 One of their fabulous sponsors is The Paper Shelter, and I was given this sweet image to work with. I decided to make a baby card with it. I colored up My Bunny Pal with my Prismacolor Pencils, then fussy cut it out.
I had picked out my papers before I began coloring, to make it easier to match things up. These were from a 6×6 paper pack that I found at the dollar store….I was pleasantly surprised at all the nice prints in it!! I used an oval die to cut out the window in the front, then layered everything together, using a neutral solid for matting. After cutting out 2 sentiments (to provide a shadowed effect), and a little bunny, I popped all the elements on to the assembled card with some foam dots. Some white highlights with my Posca pen finished the card off. I’d again like to thank the team at Coloring With Pencils for asking me to join them!
