Hi there 🙂 I was thrilled to be asked to guest design at Time Out Challenges this time around. The theme is a fun one – Snarky! This is the perfect theme for me – especially lately – as many people I’ve come across can attest to…oops! The sponsor for this challenge is Funky Fossil Designs with a $25.00 store credit as a prize for the winner as chosen by the DT.
I love this image and sentiment from Polkadoodles. Scratch It is just one of the old bags they have – all perfect for snarky cards! I printed the image and sentiment together, then colored it up with my Copics. When searching through my stash, I found this wrinkled paper that went perfectly with the whole theme of the card. After playing around a bit with layout, I went back in my crafting time and grabbed a few eyelets to use to string some twine through. I assembled the card, using simple mats for the image and background, but still “something” was needed. I swear that looking for that “something” took longer than making the rest of the card!! Nothing in my somewhat extensive craft room was right, so I turned to the trusty computer and printer, and printed off some emogis. I cut them out and popped them on the card with some foam dots. The perfect “something”!!
