Hi there 🙂 I was taking a browse through my digi stamps, and came across this cutie from Whimsy Stamps. I know exactly why I bought Doggie’s Little Behind in the first place, it reminded me of my pup, Java!! I colored the image with my Copics, trying to match up Java’s colors as closely as possible (while he ran around like a little goof, knowing he’s going to be a star). After fussy cutting it out, I set it aside to assemble the rest of the card.
I love the sketch over at Cheerful Sketches this month, so used that as a reference for my layout.
I knew I had a few different dog print papers in my collection, so I went on a hunt for them and ended up finding some I forgot I had! The ones on this card are from a pet paper pack from Dovecraft. I selected 3 of the coordinating dog theme papers and assembled the card, using some cream cardstock as a contrast. After popping on my puppy with some foam, I die cut a paw print with a Waffle Flower die, and a sentiment with a die that was in a crafty grab bag at an estate sale I went to (unfortunately, there was no packaging, so I don’t know the brand). I love how this card turned out, now I just have to have the perfect recipient….someone that loves my Java as much as I do <3
