Wow, this week has flown by!! It’s been so busy at work and a lot of personal obligations…..I have been swamped and struggle to keep up!!! Oh well, always have seemed to manage before so I’ll just keep plodding along, lol. I have my second inspiration project for the current Facebook (and blog) challenge for Ching-Chou Kuik. Our theme for the month is Lovely Lace, but the DT was challenged to used Embossing this week. I used the adorable Hydrangea Dollie for my project…one of many cute dollie images in the store π
After coloring her with my Copics, I fussy cut her out and set her aside while I worked on the rest of the card. I decided to go with a shaped card this time, and cut the shape and the teal frame out with a Spellbinder’s die. The white embossed piece was done with a Spellbinder’s folder.
I punched out the hydrangea flowers, that top the lace bow, with an old Martha Stewart punch that I have. A simple die cut sentiment finishes this off π
