Cats N’ Bats

Hi there 🙂  It’s my Sunday to inspire, once again, at the Ching-Chou Kuik Facebook Group.  I’m sitting here wondering where the first half of October has disappeared????  It’s getting closer and closer to Halloween….which is our theme (along with Halloween colors) for our challenge this month.  The blog challenge theme is also Halloween, so you have a double chance with an entry in each.  It’s also the 4 anniversary of the blog and FB group, so, to celebrate, Ching-Chou is offering extra prizes at each, and a gorgeous free image will be sent at the end of the challenge to each entrant in either challenge!!! We would love to have you come celebrate with us!!!

I used the image Dark Moon, available at the Etsy store, for my card.  After coloring it with my Copics, I cut the image out, so it would fit in the die cut frame with the skirt flowing over the bottom.

I matted it with dark blue CS, so there was some definition between this layer and the ones below.  I actually embossed the torn black layer before giving it a spritz of silver Glimmer Mist….but the embossing got lost with the spray…..oh well 🙂  I added some cheesecloth between the layers and a few sparkly little adhesive bats to finish the card off.  Now….who to give it to???

I’d like to enter this in the following challenges:

Coloring In Scrapland – ATG with Optional Twist of Halloween

Papercraft Challenge – #22 Diecuts/Punches (the frame is die cut)

Crafty Creations Challenge – #376 ATG

Creative Knockouts – #267 Fall

Jo’s Scrap Shack Funday Friday Challenge – #255 ATG
